Brand New Playground at Hubbard Lake Park in Caledonia Township
Lake Hubbard Park in Caledonia Township, situated on Hubbard Road, has a new park for children to enjoy along the northern shore of Hubbard Lake. It is a testament to years of dedication, collaboration and effort. This beautiful park features a charming tinder framed pavilion, restrooms, handicap access water entry, a playground and other wonderful amenities that provide a welcome gathering spot for visitors.
Among its highlights is a memorial viewing platform where visitors can take in scenic views of the thoughtful barrier-free design that ensures accessibility for everyone. The primary goal of the project was to enhance lake access and making it easy for families and outdoor enthusiasts to reach the water’s edge for fishing, kayaking and swimming. For those with watercraft, the park offers a hard surface boat ramp, allowing medium sized boats to launch smoothly into the lake. Additionally, there are fifty-four parking spaces.
