Alpena Has a New Grocer in Town-ALDI Set to Open June 6th
Many cars drove in and right back out of the ALDI parking lot on HWY 32 yesterday, as the store doesn’t open for one more week. The upcoming Aldi grocery store in Alpena is set to open June 6th. This store will feature fresh organic produce delivered daily, a variety of cheese and wine options, and a diverse selection of food catering to different tastes and lifestyles, including gluten free and plant-based products. To celebrate the grand opening, the first 100 customers will receive a gift bag containing all the fan favorite products and a gift card as part of the ALDI Golden Ticket Gift Card Giveaway program.
Shoppers can also participate in a sweepstakes during the grand opening weekend for a chance to win a $500 ALDI gift card. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at the new store on Thursday at 8:45 a.m., followed by the store opening to shoppers. Regular store hours will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mike Mahler of Target Alpena says Aldi is a wonderful and welcome addition to the economic growth of Alpena.
